Biography

I started playing golf at the age of 14 after a shoulder injury stopped me playing tennis at a national level. I played my amateur golf at Westhill Golf Club getting down to a scratch handicap by the age of 17.

After a successful amateur career in which I won several North East competitions, including the Spence Trophy and representing the North East District, I decided to turn professional aged 18.

I trained under Andrew Cooper at Newmachar Golf Club and after becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional I joined the Kings Links Golf Centre in 2014. My role at the Kings Links involves individual, group and corporate coaching and I head up the very successful Kings Links Junior Programme.

I am TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified and provide golfers with advice on how physical limitations in a player's body can affect their golf swing.
